Set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this sociable camping base is just 300m from the foot of Snowdon and the start of the Watkin Path that leads you to the top of this iconic peak.

For those who prefer a "step up" from the usual camping experience, this is the perfect location for the activity-minded to explore the stunning surrounding mountains, woodland, lakes and streams; whatever the time of year. This is camping in comfort; proper mattresses and solid, warm and weatherproof accommodation with electricity, but you still get that great outdoors feel - stunning views, dining alfresco and walks straight from your door.

Fully insulated and heated, so welcoming all year round, these eco-friendly glamping pods are easily accessible from the road and are set within 4.5 acres of privately owned mountainside woodland. Each cosy pod is appointed with twin full-size single divan beds and lighting. There is a socket for charging phones, and also tea and coffee making facilities - perfect to get you going on those early morning starts! For alfresco cooking, please bring your own utensils, pots and pans. There is a large communal oil-drum barbecue in the courtyard, or you can bring your own small disposable barbecues.

Glamping pod:

Bathroom block: – 30 metres from the pods

Three self-contained bathroom areas. Each one has a shower, separate WC and wash basin.

Additional Information:

Two well-behaved medium sized dogs welcome per pod (£5 per dog per night).

Pods will have a sheet, pillow and pillow case as standard. Guests can choose to bring their own bedding and towels or additional bedding can be hired which includes a feather duvet, duvet cover and extra pillow at a cost £10 per person per stay. Towel Hire is £5 per person per stay

Please bring your own stove, pots, crockery, coolbox etc for alfresco cooking in the barbecue area. There is a communal oil-drum barbecue in the courtyard.
