Further on is Blaenau Ffestiniog which boasts of its notorious Cwmorthin Waterfall and Coedydd Maentwrog National Nature Reserve, or if you prefer something more adrenaline inducing, Zip World Llechwedd is action packed with plenty of activities for the whole family. Porthmadog has stunning beaches as well as a vast array of local amenities, independent stores, pubs, and restaurants if you wish to broaden your travels, Harlech Castle and the Sygun Copper Mine are both popular tourist attractions and caters to all ages. At the base of Yr Wyddfa (Mount Snowdon), in the centre of the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, is the charming community of Beddgelert. Around the Afon Glaslyn river, Beddgelert is a thriving community with art and craft stores, tea rooms, taverns, and restaurants. One of North Wales' most well-known natural attractions, the Aberglaslyn Pass, is reachable after a 20-minute trek along the river. The village is traversed by the Welsh Highland Steam Railway as it travels from Porthmadog to Caernarfon. The Welsh Prince Llewelyn's dog, who the prince killed believing it had attacked and killed his son but later realised had been defending him from a vicious wolf assault, is memorialised in Beddgelert. This is the perfect spot for a Welsh vacation because it's convenient to get to Porthmadog, Portmeirion, Borth y Gest, and the entire Llyn Peninsula.

Such a fantastic property; cosy, well equipped, nicely decorated with super attention to detail and overall a very comfortable cottage. We’d definitely stay in this cottage again. There was also excellent communication from the property owner in advance of our stay, including comprehensive instructions about the property.

. Cosy, clean and comfortable benefitting from newly decorated/equipped facilities.. Close to some amazing walks and local facilities. Think that a bath-mat in the bathroom would be a good addition to the property. Having to come home and back to reality!

    I would stay again.
