About this property

In a superb location at the foot of Snowdon, between Beddgelert and Caernarfon, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this unique former station dates from the 1870s and is now a listed building. A perfect base for an active rural getaway for two.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location.

Another fantastic stay at the Snowdon Ranger Station. Cozy and quite. We also had amazing views of the summit of Snowdon all week. It was truly magical staying here in the winter and also having some snow as well as crystal clear skies during the day allowing us to still explore. Thanks again for an awesome visit

Highly recommended. Great location and views. The former station building (now just a request stop) has been sympathetically converted into a lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. A trip on the heritage train which runs from Porthmadog to Caernarfon is a must for the scenery, or just watch the trains go by. For walkers, the Snowdon Ranger Path starts here and the Rhyd Ddu Path and station is just a couple of miles away. An enjoyable Xmas break for me, despite some atrocious weather. I would be happy to return.
