Farchynys Court Cottage is a spacious property set in a peaceful and beautiful location, ideal for exploring North Wales & Snowdonia. Guests have enjoyed the surrounding woodland and the proximity to Barmouth. While some guests found the cottage cosy and well-equipped, others noted issues with cleanliness and maintenance. The property has received mixed feedback, with some guests reporting a comfortable stay and others suggesting improvements.
Several reviews mention a lack of cleanliness, including unclean windows, sticky surfaces, and the presence of litter and dead insects. These recurring comments suggest that cleanliness is an area needing improvement.
The location is frequently praised for its beauty and tranquillity, with easy access to local walks and the Welsh coastline. However, some guests were disappointed with the traffic noise and the lack of promised views.
Guests have found the cottage to be spacious and the beds comfortable. However, there are remarks about the need for updating lounge furniture and providing more towels, indicating room for enhancement in comfort.
The cottage is described as well-equipped by some, but others report issues with appliances, heating, and Wi-Fi. Maintenance concerns such as broken fixtures and a lack of clear instructions for use are noted.
While there are mentions of a welcome pack with local delicacies, there is insufficient information to determine consistency or to guarantee such gifts for future guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

This time although a change to the time of year we usually occupy we were short on a couple of points. Towels were not provided for the win bedroom so used those left in the twin room. We had also brought it own. Also, although not majorly important, no welcome pack e.g. Previously had milk, scones. Could not get the bottom oven to work and no instruction for use. Not everyone is accustomed to gas cookers! Coud be a point of safety.

Looking forward to return in warmer months x we had a robin that came every morning and we nearly got it to eat out of our hand .
