About this property

Perched on the coast in Barmouth, North Wales, is this stylish, duplex apartment of Flat 2. Resting above a harbourside restaurant and enjoying sea views from its sitting area, Flat 2 is a fabulous base for a small family's Welsh getaway. Climb the external staircase to the second floor to find your new home-from-home, where an open-plan living space welcomes you and offers everything you need for your holiday. Grab a seat on the sofa in the sitting area and let the electric fire warm your toes as you watch a show on the Smart TV; alternatively, why not take a seat on one of the sea-facing armchairs and take in those views of the harbour? When you're feeling peckish, move across the space to the kitchen, where all the equipment you need to fix up delicious meals awaits. These meals can be savoured at the adjacent dining table as you discuss the day's events and plan some more! As the day winds to an end, retreat downstairs to the first floor, where two bedrooms await; both rooms are stylish from top-to-bottom and are adorned with neutral tones. The fabulous bathroom can be found nearby, a space that is adorned with glossy tiling throughout and enjoying a bath with rainfall shower over. The apartment rests in a prime location, with Barmouth's many eateries practically sitting on your doorstep, including the restaurant below; the harbour is also close by, where you can board a boat to Fairbourne or go crabbing, whilst the beach is adjacent and is a great place to unwind before paying the independent shops a visit! There are many walks to enjoy nearby, with the Panorama Walk resting moments away, as well as access to Barmouth Bridge, where you can walk or cycle over to the plains of the RSPB Mawddach Valley, then over to Fairbourne's lovely set of shingle. For more coastal fun, be sure to visit Harlech, another sandy beach awaits, alongside the renowned Harlech Castle and the esteemed golf club of Royal St. David's. Porthmadog, Portmeirion and Dolgellau are all worth a visit and offer more to see and do, whilst Snowdonia's plethora of outdoor havens also await! Choose Flat 2 for a marvellous stay on this part of Wales' coastline.

The fixtures and fittings are of such a high standard with beautiful paintings and pottery placed around the rooms. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect view and sitting in a warm and cozy room looking at that view is very special.

What can I say? If you like a view look no further. It’s the best view we’ve ever had. Very nice apartment with everything you need. Very handy for a dog friendly beach, the town and some wonderful walks. We love this area but first time in Barmouth. As previously mentioned the entrance is round the back and up the fire escape which would be a challenge if you have mobility issues perhaps. Once you open the door and spy that view it’s like another world.

I sat on the window at every opportunity watching the changing tides and weather. We stayed for Christmas and the apartment was clean and lovely decorated. The living room is comfortable as are the beds. The communication was excellent from the owner. I would recommend if your taking a dog that you check they will walk up metal fire escape stairs, ours wouldnt so had to be carried up them all
