Guests say

Arran House in Barmouth is praised for its stunning views, prime location, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, spacious lounge, and thoughtful touches like a dog bed and welcome pack. The main challenges noted are the numerous stairs and the need for blackout curtains in some bedrooms.

Guests consistently describe the property as clean and inviting, with one mentioning it was like a 'home from home'. No significant complaints about cleanliness were noted, indicating high standards are maintained.

The location is highly praised for its amazing views and proximity to local amenities, with easy access to the town, beach, and public transport. The only drawback mentioned is noise from nearby nightlife.

The property is generally considered comfortable, with a spacious lounge and well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests suggested improvements such as additional seating and blackout curtains for better sleep quality.

Facilities are well-regarded, especially the kitchen and bathroom. However, some guests noted the need for more kitchenware, such as pans and bin liners, and clearer information on recycling. The presence of stairs is a recurring theme, which may affect those with mobility issues.

While guests appreciate the dog bed and welcome pack, there are not enough references to specific gifts or thoughtful gestures to accurately score this category. It should be noted that such amenities, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

This was a perfect place for me and my dog. It was warm, cosy and had everything I needed. Fabulous shower too.The view from the living room is so beautiful. I only used my car twice in the week. So many great walks from the property and many trips to the beach for dog zoomies. I did wonder if the railway and traffic might be an issue, but it was actually nice seeing the odd train rumble past and, despite the traffic lights (road works) right outside, it was quiet inside. I totally feel in love with Arron House.

It clearly says in the listing about the stairs. Three flights, its a four storey property. Which to be fair if your fit and healthy they won't be a problem. There is a childs bed on the second floor. But again this is perfect for any child and the owners have i think catered for this leaving toys etc.The view is amazing and we had some great photos from there. The kitchen has everything you need. But the local pubs and cafés are great for dinning out. A large dinning area comfy and great for meal times and afternoon tea. We enjoyed it and would stay there again.
