Ysgubor Uchaf (ref 29517) and Hen Ysgubor (ref 29518) are situated further up along the farm’s private lane. Hen Ysgubor is a ground floor Barn Conversion apartment situated below Ysgubor Uchaf which is the first floor apartment. The Farm overlooks the beautiful Mawddach Estuary, just off the coastal road to Fairbourne. Both properties are close for the beautiful Mawddach Estuary footpath and coastal trail/cycle path and direct access from the farm leads down to the golden sands of Fairbourne beach or across the Victorian bridge to Barmouth.
If you wish you can just relax, enjoy a spot of fishing nearby, or the more energetic can enjoy family walks in the idyllic scenery in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Snowdonia National Park. The family run pony trekking and equestrian centre on-site is just on the north side of the farm with menage (arena) for lessons, and riders and complete beginners are catered for. Holiday stabling is available by arrangement should you wish to bring your own horse. Shop, pub and restaurant ¾ mile.

The location of this property is ideal for both Fairbourne (15 mins walk) and Barmouth (45 mins walk). The property its self is well maintained. The key was in the door on arrival. Garden is enclosed which is great as we had 2 dogs.The kitchen items need reviewing as there was no wire rack for the grill pan.There was a gift of bread, milk and Welsh cakes which was great.

We absolutely loved our stay here this past weekend, the cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed for a self catering weekend away. The location was amazing, you felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, it was peaceful but you were only a short walk or drive away from places. We visited with my mother in law who has restricted mobility and the cottage was perfect for her, she loved it and has already asked when we can return. We can’t wait to come back.

The cottage itself was very comfortable and clean, however the accommodation was on the ground floor with separate accommodation upstairs on the first floor. This was not apparent when booking the property and unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the people staying there. This was disappointing and we would not have booked the property had we been aware of this at the time.
