Take a day trip to King Arthur's Labyrinth near Machynlleth or the Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT). Walkers will love the proximity to the Snowdonia National Park along with the Cader Idris mountain range and the scenic Talyllyn Railway. The cottage was well equipped and had plenty of information available. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage, and do note as advertised, the stairs are steep and very narrow at the top. You will need to hold onto the rail. Has what you need, but just to note there are no temperature numbers for the grill or oven, so I ended up with a few burnt meals as didnât know what Iâd put it on. Ended up just using the gas hob. Didnât go outside in the courtyard, as asked not to let my dog use it, so it was lots of trips to the green so she could have her comfort breaks.

However, the features section says âdog friendly and garden patio areaâ, but the summary goes on to say the following: âSmall enclosed courtyard with furniture One well-behaved dog welcomeâ. The instructions at the property asks dog owners not to let dogs urinate in the courtyard. This is fine but this should appear in the description because as. Dog owner I would not have booked as we had to take the dog on a lead down the road. I understand that you might not want dogs to urinate in the courtyard, but be clearer about this in the description, because it does contradict my understanding of what a dog friendly house with a âgarden patioâ area should be. If i had know this when booking I would have looked for an alternative property.
