This cosy riverside cottage is charmingly located in the picturesque village of Capelulo, an area nestled between Penmaenmawr and Conwy, in the Snowdonia National Park. 2 Brookside is a period home with modern comforts. Quarry tiles lead you into the enchanting sitting room with its inglenook woodburning stove. Beyond this, discover the kitchen and the neat collection of appliances included, as well as a small dining table perfect for breakfast or dinner. The upper floor is a haven for a peaceful night's sleep, whether you prefer the double or the twin bedroom, enjoy the quiet sound of the river outside. Furnished to a high standard, in an appropriate manner for the character of the house, there are also areas to sit and eat outside, to the front and rear, in the gardens surrounded by wooded mountain scenery. The village is wrapped in mountain and sea views and is home to a pub and several restaurants, including the distinctive 'Austrian'. Set on the side of the Tal-Y-Fan mountain, Capelulo is ideally located. It is only a few minutes from the A55, affording easy access to the whole region, while enjoying an atmosphere of rural seclusion. For walkers exploring the Carneddau, superb views across Conwy Bay to Llandudno, Anglesey and the Irish Sea are minutes away from the front door. A recently opened cycle path leads along the coastal path to Conwy Marina to the East, and Llanfairfechan to the west. Head through the atmospheric Sychnant Pass to the medieval town of Conwy, less than 10 minutes away by car. A lovely retreat for four people.

Capelulo enjoys views across Conwy Bay to Llandudno, Anglesey and the Irish Sea, and if you are lucky, dolphins can sometimes been see playing in the bay. Capelulo is just a couple of miles from Penmaenmawr, an old quarrying town now adapted into a community stretching along this coastline, yet retaining much of its Victorian architecture, with many local pubs, restaurants and shops, a golf course and golden, sandy beaches.
