The cottage is also ideal for those requiring increased accessibility, with its downstairs bedroom, ramp access, and accessible kitchen and bathroom. You’ll be just 1 mile from the picturesque town of Llanrwst and 14 miles from Conwy, famous for its magnificent medieval castle.
The characterful property is set on a working farm and is bursting with original features, including striking exposed beams and old mill machinery. The cottage feels warm and inviting and is decorated in a traditional style, with plenty of home comforts to make your stay as relaxed as possible. A gentle ramp leads to the front door, and once inside you’ll find a sociable, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Rustle up delicious feasts in the kitchen, which has an accessible hob and sink unit, to enjoy together at the wooden dining table by the window. After dinner, sink into the plump sofas to watch the Smart TV. The ground floor also houses a large wet room-style bathroom and a spacious double bedroom with direct access to outside. The two remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. The vast outdoor area is shared and boasts spectacular views across the valley, along with picnic benches and BBQ for al fresco dining.
Head into historic Llanrwst (1 mile) to potter around the fabulous artisan shops and boutiques, before stopping for a photo opportunity on the town’s iconic, three-arched, 16th-century bridge. Further afield, the vibrant town of Conwy (14 miles) offers plenty to see and do, including the smallest house in Britain, an impressive medieval fortress, a bustling quay and marina, and the tranquil haven of Bodnant Garden.
