Beautiful location but there is where it ends!In a location like this, the two basic things you need after a long day out is a comfy sofa and comfy bed, neither of which did this cottage have. We ended up sitting on the floor as the sofas are so worn out that they sag and they are extremely uncomfortable. The double bed dips in the middle and was also uncomfortable. The Kettle was dirty with a broken lid that could only be filled through the spout and there is absolutely nowhere to put any groceries because all the kitchen cupboards are filled up. This could easily be rectified by uncluttering the kitchen. The radiator in the bathroom was shut off and couldn't be used because it leaked and both the taps constantly dripped. They also limit the central heating to set times in the morning and late afternoon and you can not alter them. Not good if you get back soaking wet during the day!The awkward heavy 5 bar gates also need looking at as they sag and have to be lifted to close them. If you have dogs then the gates have to be closed as there are sheep in the surrounding fields and the camping site. It was definitely the worst cottage we have stayed in, generally unloved and not particularly clean. We even had to empty the hoover before we could use it as it was full to the brim.

We had a lovely week . Location great ,everything on your door step. We gad everything we needed. Bed was a little hard ,but that's just my opinion.

What a brilliant location. Handy for all snowdonia. The cottage was lovely, and had everything we needed for the week. Waking up to the views of the nearby hills was a delight. If I head back to Snowdonia I will check if the cottage is available.
