Mushroom cottage had everything we needed to have a warm and comfortable stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and the shower was warm (once the water temp had been increased) and powerful. The beds were basic with thin mattresses. The double bed was not big enough for us. Luckily we used the mattress from the spare bed in the kids room to put on the floor. It worked for us but was not ideal. May work better for a shorter couple.The hot tub was a welcomed bonus! A great way to relax after a day walking the 4 waterfalls route.Not perfect (only because of the cheap bed) but we would definitely stay again!

Mushroom cottage has amazing views of the valley, it is clean and comfortable, a home from home (actually it’s a lot nicer than my home 😀)

We had a lovely comfortable stay, plenty of room for all of us. The cottage was clean and well equipped for our needs and we loved the cosy decor. The views were amazing. We could park very easily right outside the cottage each day. Great location with plenty of amenities and places of interest close by. We could travel into Cardiff easily from here. Fresh flowers and milk for our arrival which was a lovely touch. The owner was really helpful with any queries and quick to respond, we left our son’s monkey soft toy behind and the owner has very kindly posted this back to him which we are so grateful for! Nothing was too much trouble. Very good value too and would like to visit Wales again, would definitely book this accommodation again. Thank you for a lovely stay.
