There is a river walk leading to an Arboretum containing over 25 different species of British trees, an ideal place to explore before jumping on the narrow gauge heritage steam railway that runs 8.5 miles west to Welshpool.

Everything required for our stay to feel like 'home'. Greatly appreciated gift pack upon arrival for our festive break. Incredibly peaceful surroundings helped for a good night's rest. Local town not too distant with friendly people. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return if wanting to stay in the area again.

The only complaint we could make is rained too much but the best property cannot control this. Eileen the owner went out of her way to try & ensure we had a happy time. There is a picture hanging on the wall in the living area that shows what the building looked like originally. The conversion to the present state has been carried out to the highest standard. It now offers all the necessary amenities, comfort & atmosphere to provide everything you could want.
