Llangorse Lake is just 12 miles away, where you can hire a rowing boat, kayak, Canadian canoe, or stand-up paddleboard. There are many market towns to explore nearby, including Brecon (4 miles), known for its canal walks, a theatre, a cathedral, and the Welsh Museum.

One of six farm cottages nestled within the Welsh countryside, the cottage is part of a terrace of three properties and boasts a front aspect onto a shared courtyard. The accommodation is across two floors with a reverse-level layout. After kicking off walking boots and hanging coats in the entrance hall, head upstairs to the first floor where a scenic open-plan living space awaits. The comfortable lounge in this space is where you can kick back on the comfy sofas as the Smart TV plays your favourite films. When stomachs rumble, the compact but well-appointed kitchen stands ready for budding chefs, who can celebrate their culinary efforts at the nearby farmhouse-style dining table. If the sun is shining, choose to eat out on the delightful terrace, accessed through nearby glass doors for your ease. When bedtime calls, head downstairs to find the cosy bedroom with two double beds, served by a well-appointed shower room that rounds off the interior.

Outside, the space is shared between five other cottages, guests are free to use the indoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as the communal courtyard with outdoor seating. To start the day, enjoy a peaceful walk around the farm where animals and a children’s play area await.
