About this property

The Nest has recently been refurbished to offer very comfortable accommodation to couples and families. The ground floor holiday home is barely 100 metres from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and Little Haven Beach, within walking distance of two friendly pubs, and next door to a fantastic shop selling fresh crab and lobster. Broad Haven is only a mile away, with more amenities nearby in Haverfordwest or at one of the region's excellent farm shops. The ground floor apartment sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Children and one well-behaved dog are welcome.

The Nest is in one of the best locations on the entire Pembrokeshire coast. The ground floor holiday home, which sleeps four people in two bedrooms, is in the centre of Little Haven, steps from two friendly pubs and right next to the popular Lobster and Mor shop where you can buy the freshest lobster and crab you'll ever have the pleasure of tasting. The beach and Pembrokeshire Coast Footpath are barely 100 metres from the door - you can throw the windows open and smell the fresh sea air. The Nest is ideal for couples and families, with children and one well-behaved dog welcome.

Little Haven is a favourite holiday destination for all seasons. In summer, it's a seaside paradise with a sandy beach, rock pools, and water for swimming, sailing and paddle boarding. In winter, it's a quiet coastal retreat with dramatic views from the clifftop footpath. The beach changes with the tide, being a vast expanse of sand at low tide, wide enough to walk around the shore to neighbouring Broad Haven. At high tide, it's a sheltered cove with a public slipway used to launch boats. A great way to get your bearings is to walk from The Nest to The Point to overlook Little Haven and the small beach known by locals as The Sheep Wash.

People rave about the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and with good reason. It's one of the most spectacular footpaths in the entire UK. It's perfect for walking to Broad Haven, where you can pick up basic groceries, hire surfboards and SUPs, and arrange lessons. Go south to Brides Haven or north to Druidston Haven, Nolton Haven and Newgale. The Puffin Shuttle service links all of these towns and villages so you can take the bus home when your legs are tired.

Day trips from The Nest can include crabbing from the harbour wall at Solva, visiting St David's Cathedral and enjoying lunch in Wales' smallest city, cycling or walking in the Preseli Hills, shopping at local farmer's markets like those at Haverfordwest, Pembroke and Fishguard. Have ice cream at Tenby, walk down the steep flight of steps to St Govan's Chapel, and admire the natural beauty of Stackpole and Barafundle Bay. Have the binoculars at the ready to spot the fantastic wildlife on a trip to Skomer or Ramsey island or try your hand at fishing. Local attractions include Folly Farm, Pembroke Castle, Oakwood Theme Park, and the Blue Lagoon waterpark.

There's something to appeal to everyone when you stay at The Nest, but it's Little Haven beach that will be the star of your holiday. Short breaks may be possible outside of peak season, depending on availability.
