About this property

Nestled in the popular seaside resort of Tenby, Pembrokeshire, is this lovely ground-floor apartment, Gwylan Apartment. Enjoying a superb location just moments away from the beach and town’s many attractions, Gwylan Apartment is a wonderful choice for couples seeking a relaxing retreat. Parking can be found next door at the railway station or in the nearby car park, and you will have access to your own private enclosed courtyard, where you can dine alfresco or enjoy your favourite tipple whilst the sun sets. Step inside, where you will discover a well-equipped kitchen where you can conjure up your best dishes, ready to savour at the dining table for two as you recount the days adventures. After dinner, make your way over to the plush sofas where you can relax in front of a much-loved film on the FreeSat TV with DVD player. Continue through to find a contemporary shower room where you can wash away the day’s adventures, before retiring to the sumptuous king-size bed to catch up on some well-deserved rest. Explore the town, where you will find the historic sites of Tenby Castle and National Trust – Tudor Merchant’s House, spend a day on the golden sands of Tenby Beach, tuck-in to Malaysian cuisine at Nora’s Kitchen, British delights at Seaview Café, Greek at Mykonos, and fresh seafood at Plantagenet House, tour the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery, hook your catch of the day with Ebony May Fishing, or catch a ferry over to the picturesque Caldey Island. On the town’s outskirts, you will find the popular attractions of Manor Wildlife Park, Great Wedlock Farm & Deer Park, and Dinosaur Park. Next stop is Pembroke, home to a remarkable castle, Pembroke Museum, Monkton Old Hall and Pembroke Carvery. Further afield, you’ll find Carmarthen, where you can picnic in Carmarthen Park, explore the Carmarthenshire County Museum, and visit Carmarthen Castle. Escape to Pembrokeshire with a stay at Gwylan Apartment.

Tenby is a popular tourist destination on the stunningly gorgeous 'Welsh Riviera,' and is sometimes referred to as "The Jewel in the Crown" of Wales. Tenby is located in the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, which stretches for 186 miles down the south-western coast of Wales. The county of Pembrokeshire is one of the sunniest in the United Kingdom, and the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream. This picturesque town is surrounded by a wall that dates back to the Middle Ages and has winding, cobblestone alleys lined with unique stores, an indoor market selling locally sourced goods, cosy tea houses, and tantalising eateries. Watersports enthusiasts can enjoy the nearly three miles of beautiful, Blue Flag-awarded beaches, while walkers and cyclists can take in the local flora and fauna along the coastal paths. Unfortunately, the participants in the world-famous Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in the middle of September) don't have time for any of this! If you want to see seals and puffins and take in the peace and quiet of the island, a boat excursion to Caldey Island is a must. Visit nearby Saundersfoot or Manobier, or the famous Tudor Merchant's House. Folly Farm has everything from vintage carnival rides to local and exotic animals, while Oakwood Theme Park is perfect for teenagers and younger tourists. It's ideal for a vacation full of fun and excitement.
