" Although the interior is clean and appeared to be freshly decorated, the exterior is need a lot of maintenance. Compared to other surrounding chalets on the Park, 'Daffodil' is shabby in appearance. The gutters and roof are full of moss and old leaves, lots of dead leaves on the walk-ways and balcony and the ground floor bedroom windows are covered in spider's webs. The window sills and general woodwork need painting, as they did a few years ago. It has a neglected feel about it. When we arrived for our holiday, there was no WiFi and five lights in the kitchen were not working. These problems were rectified on the second day after we had reported them to the staff at Trefloyne Manor. For a rental that cost £900 per week, it would have been nice if someone had checked these things before we arrived. The inside of the chalet is generally well equipped but lacks even the basic commodities in the kitchen to start you off, such as salt and pepper, foil etc. The grill pan on the cooker does not fit the side bars so everything has to be grilled on the base of the top oven. The downstairs shower is in need of attention as the shower head constantly drips. The TV in the lounge is small for the size of the room and very old with a poor picture. There is no 'Welcome Book' in the chalet to explain how anything works. There is a general deterioration in the access-drive in the last few years and anyone would struggle up the steep hill to reach the property without a large SUV or four-track car. For a premier property, we were disappointed and won't be staying there again. "

" Very friendly staff at the hotel : bar at the bottom of the hill.... we would certainly stay again. "
    Miss Latham ‐ 1 Jul 2019
" The decking and balconies needed a good sweep, and the wooden railings could have used a wipe with a damp cloth - but these were minor things. However, one major thing that I need to mention is the access. The drive up to the lodge was too steep for my car (Yaris 1.2) and my friends' car (Aygo 1.0litre) to handle. My friend slid back down the track with her hand-brake on, to much alarm! Luckily, Helen from reception at Trefloyne Manor allowed us to park in a space near lodge no.6, and the owners of that lodge luckily seemed ok about that. Unfortunately I think the tricky access would affect my decision to return for another holiday at Daffodil in the future. My mother came with us, who is 76 and luckily reasonably fit - had she not been, we would probably have had to rely on Trefloyne Manor to ferry her up and down on a golf buggy every day! "

" Recommend dining at the golf club too. "
    Mr Rodic ‐ 1 May 2019
" They double booked it and moved us into another lodge (meant to be an upgrade) before we got there. Then when we arrived they had moved us again without us knowing, this was into a privately owned lodge that was just a little bit dated. This was not what we had ordered at all! The shower broke at the first time of using, you could see where someone had used super glue to repair it beforehand. Then the dishwasher leaks all over the floor when used, so we ended up washing up. Overall our first few days were not what we expected them to be. "
    Ms Gafney ‐ 1 Apr 2019
" Just far enough for an affordable taxi into Tenby or a short 10 minute drive. The lane up to the lodge proved a little difficult as steep and my car didn't like the loose chipping, sliding everywhere, otherwise a great holiday had by all. "

    Ms Thomas ‐ 1 Mar 2018
" We have nothing bad to say about the place! The Daffodils is a very clean, comfortable and quiet place to stay with the golf club being a 2 minute walk from the lodge. The hospitality of the staff was fantastic, and I would definitely recommend the food at the golf club itself! The only suggestion I would make is for some lighting up the paths when your walking back to the lodge of an evening. We resorted to using the torches on our phones! And as far as previous comments go with driving up to the lodge- we have a 2 wheel drive qashqai and a little corsa- which we managed to get to the lodge with no problems at all! If I’m honest, I think the only thing this place was missing was a hot tub or a swimming pool- this would make the place complete. We will definitely be returning! "
    Mr Mawer
"Not everybody would be happy getting t h ere car up the slope to the lodge and the roadway needs lights at night, could be dangerous for some people leaving the lodge to get to the golf club."
    Mr Dargan
"They were sent to us by mail at no cost to ourselves. We wish to thank Trefloyne Manor Hotel for how quickly clothes were returned. Next year we will be returning."

"The only improvement would be for the external seating areas to be swept. I will be recommending this property and Cottage to family and friends."

"A beautiful house in a lovely location, it really felt homely and comfortable. Nicely furnished and very bright and cheerful. Very easy drive to Tenby and all local attractions."
Mrs Geraldine Hutchins, BRIDGEND, Mid Glamorgan
"Such a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing setting, absolutely beautiful, everything you needed was at the lodge. The restaurant at the manor house was superb, the service was equally great, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff there. A true reflection of the perfect holiday, I will definitely be returning, the whole family loved it. Well done owners."
Mrs Karen Wilkins, Bilston, West Midlands
"Everything was great! Love the Swedish houses and the location! The restaurant and bar was nice too."
    Mrs Webster, Wokingham, Berkshire
"Would highly recommend. As a holiday renter for over 35 years, and living in a lovely home I am sometimes disappointed at the standard of accommodation we find when we go away. However this time we have had a superb experience. The description was accurate, the booking process easy, very impressed. We had a fabulous time, and will definitely book again. "
    Mr Frost, Seaford, East Sussex
"The accommodation was everything we would have wanted and more. The setting and views were lovely and luckily the weather was really good as well. The restaurant, that we used on several occasions, was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff. The food that we had, particularly the Sunday roast, was delicious. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday. "
    Mr Renshaw, Derby, Derbyshire
"The accommodation was absolutely first class, the space was immense, I know we will struggle to find a place like this on our future holidays. I can guarantee we will return here. We were absolutely delighted with Daffodil."
