About this property

This stylish first-floor apartment, known as 8 The Clicketts, can be found in the picturesque seaside town of Tenby, Pembrokeshire. 8 The Clicketts is a great dog-friendly option for couples or a family of four with its convenient position near the town's excellent services and the coast. You can park in the designated off-road space and you also have use of the shared gardens. You'll feel right at home in the bright living room/dining area, where you can stretch out on the plush corner sofa in front of the warming electric fireplace while watching your favourite show on the flat-screen television. Step inside the kitchen, where you can prepare delicious meals for four people to enjoy with a bottle of wine at the dining room table. Proceed to the contemporary bathroom, where you may enjoy a warm shower and then retire to one of the two tastefully decorated bedrooms, a king-size and a double. You can learn about your surroundings by taking a tour of Tenby Museum on Castle Hill, sample local beers at the Harbwr Tenby Harbour Brewery and treat your loved ones to a lunch at any of Tenby numerous popular eateries. You can also spend the day relaxing on any of Tenby's four golden beaches which turn into two on low tide! The next destination is Pembroke, with its imposing castle - the birthplace of King Henry VII and the Tudor dynasty. Don't forget neighbouring Lamphey Bishops Palace - a real hidden gem. If fun, games and animals are more your thing, then look no further than the Dinosaur Park, Heatherton World of Activites, Manor Wildlife Park or Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo. For a memorable escape to Pembrokeshire, look no further than 8 The Clicketts.

Tenby is a popular tourist destination on the stunningly gorgeous 'Welsh Riviera,' and is sometimes referred to as "The Jewel in the Crown" of Wales. Tenby is located in the gorgeous 186-mile long Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where the water is warmed by the Gulf Stream and the county is one of the sunniest in the UK. This picturesque town, surrounded by mediaeval walls, is home to a labyrinth of winding, cobblestone alleys lined with unique stores, an indoor market stocked with fresh, regional produce, tea rooms, and tantalising eateries. Watersports enthusiasts can enjoy the nearly three miles of beautiful, Blue Flag-awarded beaches, while walkers and cyclists can take in the local flora and fauna along the coastal paths. Unfortunately, the participants in the world-famous Tenby Iron-Man contest (held in the middle of September) don't have time for any of this! Visit Caldey Island by boat to experience the peace and quiet of the island's monastic grounds and breathtaking scenery, and maybe even spot some seals or puffins on your journey! Visit the surrounding resort towns of Saundersfoot and Manobier, or check out the spectacular Tudor Merchant's House. Folly Farm has everything from vintage carnival rides to local and exotic animals, while Oakwood Theme Park is perfect for teenagers and younger tourists. The ideal spot for a relaxing and exciting vacation.

There was a half drunk bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival and crumbs on the worktop. It had a generally unfinished feel. There was no hot water except through the shower. But I’d just not have reviewed if these were the only problems and I just wouldn’t book again. As the owner is aware and Sykes are aware we had to leave this accommodation half way through our holiday because of the strong smell of weed coming from the downstairs apartment every night. This was distressing and upsetting especially because I have two small children who were breathing this in. I notified the owner of the issue but this was not resolved in 24 hours and I couldn’t do another night. I was not advised that Sykes would look to put us in alternative accommodation by the owner. He offered no suitable solution. I am most frustrated that the owner is not willing to compensate me meaningfully for my losses as a result of this and I will have no choice but to go to the stress and inconvenience of pursuing this via the Small Claims Court.

Clean, tidy and comfortable. Paul was a great host. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
