The cottage itself is lovely. I did have problems finding it - the directions were incorrect and need updating. The directions say it is 1.5 miles along the road, which sent me onto a single track road, where I had to continue for a couple of miles before I go to a point where I could turn around. This was a hilly, twisty road, slippery with wet leaves so quite an unneeded stress at the end of a drive. Turns out the property is actuallly only half a mile along thr road rather than a mile and a hallf. The other part of the directions said to look out for a triangular flower bed, this was quite hard to notice, it's not raised off the ground, and as it doesn't actually have any flowers, blended into the grass and the hedge. With a 5pm check in time, this is even less noticeable at dusk / in the dark.It would be helpful if the shower had a shelf / basket or something to put toiletries on. These had to just go on the floor in the shower, which made my soap super soggy. It would have been nice to have a hand towel for the bathroom, as well as the larger towels. The fan in the bathroom was pretty filthy and could do with a good clean. If I'd known there were electric pylons on the property I might not have booked this.
