Enter the home through the level access and make your way into the sleek fitted kitchen/diner, which has a sofa and TV for your entertainment, while French doors open to a split level enclosed paved terrace with wonderful views; enjoy dining alfresco or a drink on summer’s evening next to the water with wonderful views to the Castle and stunning reflections on the lake. A fabulous welcome pack is also kindly providing, offering a range of local produce including bara bryth and Pembroke cider. Take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, only 100 yards from the house, to really appreciate this stunning coastline, taking in the Green Bridge of Wales and the tiny 6th-century St Govans Chapel, built into the cliffs. Pembroke is a bustling farming town boasting a plethora of lovely pubs, local produce shops, and a market where you can stock up on the essentials. Freshwater West, popular with surfers and the backdrop for the blockbuster movies Robin Hood and Harry Potter, is one of the wildest beaches in Wales; enjoy refreshments from the famous Café Mor, a converted boat above the beach, serving seafood and traditional Welsh recipes with a trendy twist flavoured with seaweed. West Angle Bay is also within easy reach, where super woodland and coastal walks can be enjoyed, and the bird life is sure to enthrall. Keen kayakers will enjoy exploring the caves and cliffs from Stackpole Quay, where there is a popular seasonal café, or you can visit the popular Stackpole Inn for food. There is easy access to a number of seaside villages and towns including Manorbier, Lydstep, Tenby and Saundersfoot to the east or west over the Cleddau estuary to the Dale Peninsula. Pembroke, a medieval walled town, is home to a magnificent castle that was Henry Tudor's birthplace. This old village, located on the river estuary, features a plethora of shops, quaint tea rooms, and restaurants. The gorgeous Pembrokeshire coastline, with its award-winning beaches and fantastic hikes along the coastal path, is close. A popular cycle route departs from here, passing via the picturesque village of St Florence and on to Tenby. Bosherton, with its magnificent lily ponds and the popular St Govan's Inn, is only 4 miles away, serving locally sourced food and superb ales. St Govan's Chapel is constructed into the cliff face, with beautiful views from Stack Rocks, or surfers can head to Freshwater West, which was featured in one of the Harry Potter films. Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, where you can feed molly lambs or take a tractor ride, Manor House Wildlife Park, Dinosaur Experience, and Heatherton World of Adventures are all nearby. Pembroke is an excellent choice for a family vacation, a walking break, or simply a chance to relax in gorgeous surroundings.
