Really pleased we booked this property. All mod cons, with thoughtful extras, and tasteful decoration. Location was perfect to explore the area, which has beautiful beaches and quaint towns. We would return again.

HONEST REVIEW - GOOD & BADCottage is well presented, modern finishes and great location. Will start with the good things: 1) The hot tub was lovely - works fab and is not overlooked at all so nice and private.2) Bed firm and comfortable.3) Shower lovely, bathroom in general very nice. 4) Nice touches such as leaving a bottle of fizz and mince pies for our new years stay, leaving poo bags, treats etc. for dogs, board games and a basket of blankets. 5) Local area is fab. Green king pub around the corner (1 min on foot), Asda just further up. Tesco Aldi, Mcdonalds, KFC etc. all within the area. Easy drive to beaches and local towns (Tenby, Pembroke). 6) Quiet area. Not much in the way of a view from the house itself, but if you walk further down the road you are dockside. 7) Kitchen stocked with all the things you need. Albeit some items are not very good quality...8) Everything was cleaned very well. Our biggest problem:We arrived at around 7pm, first most important thing was that the dog went out in the garden to do his business. Found there was no outside lighting (confirmed by text from owner too). We walked the dog outside with our phone torches, but due to it being pitch black our dog thought the edge of the wall was the steps to get back down. Fell down it and landed on top of the hot tub (due to no fencing around the top garden section) He then panicked and fell off the hot tub, down two steps and onto the next platform. He was limping in pain but luckily helped with some pain relief - could have been a very stressful / expensive trip to the vet!I would not advise that any puppies or senior dogs vacation here. Or for that matter, any children or senior people! The garden is too dangerous without fencing, and LETHAL at night with no lighting. This must be fixed as a priority as it's a ticking time bomb for a serious accident waiting to happen! Our recommendations for the owner: 1) Lighting outside in the garden is a MUST. 2) Update the cutlery, it is very poor quality - reminded me of school lunches.3) Carpets upstairs would make the rooms warmer and flooring more comfortable - nails sticking out of floor boards is not ideal.4) Replace or fix the sofa, its completely bowed in.5) Low fences are required on all levels in the garden to prevent dogs from falling from one level to the next. Younger/smaller dogs and senior dogs would easily hurt themselves.6) The bathroom around the toilet area is experiencing a damp issue on the wall. Should be an easy fix.7) Leave a small supply of tea / sugar / milk - the coffee machine I'm sure was lovely but we like many others in the UK are not fancy coffee drinkers. Just the basics would be appreciated!8) Some kind of canopy for the hot tub so it can be used come rain or shine? And somewhere to hang your towel / robes whilst out there so they don't get wet or muddy.

Had a great two night break for my partner’s birthday .. lovely to use the hot tub at night. Cottage is fully equipped with ‘everything’ you might need for a comfortable stay .. 10 miles ish from Tenby and lovely to watch the ferries come in across the harbour .. would definitely revisit for longer
