Guests say

Wisteria Lodge is highly praised for its peaceful, secluded setting in a beautiful valley, offering guests a tranquil escape surrounded by nature. The cottage is described as cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped, with particularly welcoming and helpful hosts. Guests appreciate the spacious grounds, ideal for dogs, and the proximity to stunning beaches and walks. While some mention the narrow access lanes and occasional minor maintenance issues, the overwhelmingly positive feedback highlights the property's charm, cleanliness, and relaxing atmosphere.

Multiple reviews mention the cottage being spotlessly clean, tidy, and well-kept. Only one review notes the presence of cobwebs, but this is an isolated comment among otherwise glowing feedback.

The location is consistently described as beautiful, peaceful, and idyllic, with easy access to beaches and walks. The only minor drawback noted is the narrow lanes leading to the property, but this is generally seen as part of its secluded charm.

Guests frequently mention the cottage's comfort, especially the quality of the bed and the cosy atmosphere. The property is considered perfect for couples and those seeking relaxation, with only rare mentions of minor issues such as morning brightness.

The cottage is well-equipped with all essentials, including a kitchen and wood burner. Some guests note the absence of basic supplies like tea, coffee, or oil, and a few mention minor maintenance needs (e.g., shower curtain, toilet seat), but overall satisfaction with facilities is high.

The hosts are repeatedly described as welcoming, friendly, and helpful, offering local advice and ensuring guests feel at home. While some guests mention a warm welcome, there are no references to guaranteed gifts or extras.

Idyllic peaceful location unless you don't like narrow roads. Comfy. Just right for two. Helpful host without being intrusive. Close to many beautiful beaches and sites of interest.

Beautiful remote location. The accommodation could do with some modest tlc ; for example the bathroom shower curtain needed replacing and fixing ; the toilet seat screws were evidently the wrong size and the water pressure needed to be adjusted to avoid the intermittent loud noises.
