Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives high praise for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'sparkling' and 'dust-free'. However, a few mentions of a musty odour and cobwebs slightly affect the score.

The location is celebrated for its quiet rural setting and proximity to Newport, with easy access to the beach and local amenities. The scenic views and peaceful environment are highly valued by guests.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, contributing to a relaxing stay. Some concerns about seating comfort and a noisy bed are noted, but overall, the comfort level is well-regarded.

The cottage is praised for its well-stocked kitchen and garden. However, points are deducted for the mentioned need for upgrades, including the oven and garden seating, as well as issues with hot water supply and shower pressure.

The welcome basket and provisions are frequently mentioned and appreciated, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts, while often provided, are not guaranteed for every stay.

The welcome basket was such a lovely treat. The cottage was comfortable, clean and with so many lovely touches, even a pint of milk for a cuppa at the end of a long journey. The information folder was really helpful especially the local recommendations. We felt like we were staying in a much loved family home. We hope to stay again next year, a truly special place for a wonderful holiday.
