Guests say

Mill Cottage is praised for its spaciousness, unique layout, and comfortable furnishings. Its location is ideal for exploring Newport and the Welsh countryside, with easy access to shops, pubs, and beaches. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and the large, enclosed garden, which offers sea views and is perfect for children and pets.

Several reviews mention issues with cleanliness, including a dirty fridge, unwashed windows, and unkept garden. However, some guests found the property clean and comfortable, indicating inconsistency in cleaning standards.

The cottage is consistently praised for its excellent location, with proximity to local amenities, the beach, and the ability to explore South Wales. The views and central location are highlighted as major positives.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the living spaces relaxing. The spaciousness and layout contribute to the overall comfort, making it suitable for larger groups and families.

The property offers a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as a non-working extractor hood, problematic showers, and loose toilet seats, suggesting room for improvement.

There is no consistent mention of welcome packs or gifts, and while some guests noted a lack of basic provisions, it is not clear if this is a standard practice or an oversight. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such amenities will be provided.
