Snaptrip says

Little Barn Cottage is praised for its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and peaceful location, with easy access to local beaches and walks. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen and thoughtful welcome packs, though some mention issues with flies and a lack of outdoor space for pets.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several guests noting it was very clean and comfortable. However, a few guests mentioned minor issues such as unclean baking trays and a used scourer sponge.

The location is highly regarded for its proximity to beaches and quiet setting. Some guests were dissatisfied with the view of manure and the presence of flies, which may be related to the nearby stables.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, especially praising the big beds and the cosy living space. However, some guests reported issues with uncomfortable mattresses in the twin room and problems with flies that affected their comfort.

The cottage is well-equipped, but several guests noted the lack of an ice compartment in the fridge and issues with the gas fire. Maintenance issues like water supply problems and the need for TLC in outdoor areas were also mentioned.

While guests appreciated welcome packs with snacks and essentials, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent or guaranteed for every stay. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

A lovely touch with that welcome pack the jam was amazing and we brought it home . Great location on terms of what we wanted to achieve and get out of our little break . The only reason I would not return or give maximum stars is the lack of outside space for our dog we didn’t feel safe leaving her outside the front go Door area (there is no back area ) which is not in my opinion safe for a dog and the toilet facilities being downstairs when nature calls you in the night it’s not the best ! Apart from this we had a lovely stay so thank you

It was an excellent place for a short break away if you don’t mind driving to different locations as there weren’t many places you could have a short walk to. The property was just what we were looking for and comfortable for four adults and two dogs for a few days. The only negatives were that two of the baking trays were unclean, but once they had been through, the dishwasher was fine. Also, we couldn’t find a maiden to use to dry our clothes when we returned from a very wet walk, but the log fire more than made up for this. Overall, the general cleanliness and comfort of the property was perfectly fine.

The space is roomy and interior decor in the cottage is fresh and modern. The kitchen was really well equiped. It has good proximity to amenities in Fishguard and Newport by car and many other great places to visit. The two beaches are within 20 minute walking distance but both have car parks if you did drive. It just lacked a little enclosed garden / courtyard space.
