A luxurious Newport cottage, all on the ground floor and perfect for a family holiday. The wonderful kitchen and the sitting room are well equipped and have wonderful views of beautiful open countryside. Two bedrooms and a family bathroom complete the accommodation inside plus there is lovely stone walling adding to the character of this fine Newport holiday cottage. A delightful enclosed garden, perfect for alfresco dining, completes the accommodation at this lovely Newport cottage. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 6161 and 6164 and together they accommodate 10 people.
Newport is a beautiful coastal town in Pembrokeshire, south west Wales lying on the River Nevern with a selection of shops, pubs, tea rooms, plus an excellent golf course overlooking the sea as well as a lovely sheltered harbour. Newport lies on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path which is renowned worldwide for its unique landscape and wonderful opportunities to go dolphin and seal spotting. Wonderful coastal walks along the path or in the nearby Preseli Hills with the ever changing scenery are a walkers dream all year round. Learn about history when you visit the mills, craft centres and castles dotted around the county or spend a day at the wonderful Castell Henllys Iron Age Fort where you can learn hands on all about living during that time. See the majestic Shire Horses at the Shire Horse Farm or spend relaxing days on the huge choice of beautiful sandy beaches. All year round this is a perfect location for all the family.

The cottage is quite remote so very peaceful. The owners are on hand though if needed. Plenty of room for two of us and our two dogs with a large, enclosed garden and had the weather been better weâd have sat out on in the garden more. The bed was very comfy and a good power shower, plenty of kitchen equipment and a welcome basket provided, Lots of beaches nearby which are dog friendly and plenty of cafes for coffee and cake. All in all a lovely week away.

Thank you. The owner had tried to make us feel welcome. However, I told Sykes on the first morning, that the en suite was dirty with weeks of dirt ingrained as black gunk in the shower hose, shower head and fan. Mould on grouting and seals and dirt in the door hinges etc.I am sorry to have to say this but a good deep clean of this area is necessary. It was not home from home in this area and I hope my observations help rather than cause upset. It is without prejudice to help the owner who may be unaware if they use a cleaning team?? The Tap was very stiff too. Everywhere else was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay at Y Cartws. It is difficult to raise such a complaint on site! Awkward and embarrassing.

Fantastic views and loved watching the swallows and kites. The garden is large and completely secure for dogs. Great comfy bed and well equipped kitchen but we would suggest putting all the recycling bins outside as there is plenty of room to do so. The weather was excellent but it was a shame there were no sun loungers like in the picture. Overall we had a relaxing stay.
