About this property

A short walk from the centre of Newport, Pembrokeshire is this charming, semi-detached cottage, Bwthyn Betsi. A delightful stay for a family of four or two couples, Bwthyn Betsi enjoys access to the outdoor wonders of the nearby mythical Carningli Mountain, along with the idyllic towns and villages peppered along Pembrokeshire's coastline. A parking space in the garage, along with the owners generously offered permit parking space at the nearby Long Street car park, greets you as you arrive at Bwthyn Betsi, ensuring a hassle-free arrival! Continue inside to an enticing living/dining room with painted beams and wooden flooring giving the space a homely feel; settle down in front of the wood burning stove and switch on the Smart TV to enjoy one of its many BT-based packages.

Head to the kitchen, where the chef of the group can get busy making a mouthwatering dinner with the wealth of appliances available, including an electric/gas cooker with extractor fan; these delights can be enjoyed next door at the dining table or out in the charming back garden whilst your furry friends stretch their legs. The kitchen additionally offers a washing machine, whilst there is a tumble dryer in the garage, so you can keep your clothes fresh throughout your stay. As the day comes to a close, progress upstairs to find two stylish bedrooms, a double and twin, which rest near a contemporary shower room, where you can wash the day off in the glass cubicle.

Embark on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and head west to come across the coastal town of Fishguard, where the magnificent vistas of Lower Town, the 1797 Last Invasion of Britain Tapestry and the sweep of Fishguard Bay await you.

Venture in the opposite direction to discover Cardigan, a town resting on Afon Teifi and is home to the Welsh Eisteddfod's birthplace at Cardigan Castle, the Guildhall Market and the Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran. Why not continue west and south through the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, where an array of watersports await along St. Brides Bay and visit the UK's smallest city with its incredible cathedral in St Davids along the way. Escape the everyday with a stay at the delightful Bwthyn Betsi.

There is everything you need for your comfort. It has a good size garden and the garage is a big plus. Couple of minutes walk to the shops. Would definitely recommend Bwthyn Betsi.

Some class treats on arrival for us humans and Betsy. No issue with car parking as a permit is supplied to park in the near Long St car park. Would certainly return to the Cottage but not showing as available for rental in the future upon website. Diolch yn fawr.

The cottage had been beautifully renovated and was spotlessly clean and comfortable with good quality bedding etc. On arrival we were impressed by all the little extras which had been provided and the welcome gifts of wine, chocolates, milk etc. There was also a lovely garden space and garage with room to park outside too. We will definitely return and have recommended to friends and family.
