This wonderful, dog-friendly lodge benefits from a welcoming, open-plan living space completed by three well-appointed bedrooms, a large, wrap-around veranda with furniture and a spectacular location close to the beach and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park; the perfect setting for families or friends looking to explore the wonders of South Wales. Cross the threshold into your new home-from-home and unwind on the plush sofas in front of the Smart TV before stepping into the fully-equipped kitchen area where you can rustle up tasty meals for the whole family. If the sun is shining, why not dine alfresco with the historic iron works providing a unique and memorable background? When the sky darkens, head inside to wash off the day’s adventures in the bathroom before sloping off to sleep in one of three bedrooms, choose from a king-size with en-suite shower room, double or twin. Heritage Park enjoys unrivalled surroundings amid the dramatic and inspirational Pembrokeshire coast. The park benefits from beautiful scenery and is surrounded by history with ruins from the iron works that occupied the area from 1849 to 1877, it is also being very cleverly developed to compliment the landscape and historical ruins, which truly makes the particular location of this holiday lodge so special! If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful setting, venture into the heart of Kilgetty where you can stock up on all your essentials at the local supermarket, or enjoy an evening meal or drink, you may choose to order a take-away meal from the fish & chip shop or Indian or Chinese restaurants. Next, make your way to the coast, where you can savour delicious food at Wisemans Bridge Inn while admiring breath-taking views across the Bristol Channel or spend a full day upon the golden shores of Saundersfoot Beach. Immerse yourself in the area’s past by exploring the National Trust’s Tudor Merchant House, the impressive 11th-century Manorbier Castle, Carew Castle and Tidal Mill or the ruins of Narberth Castle. Other notable attractions woven through the surrounding countryside include Colby Woodland Garden, Oakwood Theme Park, and Manor Wildlife Park. All this and more awaits at Seacroft.

About 2.4 miles away from Kilgetty is Cresswell Quay, one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire. Cresswell Quay is a charming hamlet of scattered cottages perched on the edge of the tidal estuary. Stop by the Cresselly Arms for a pint and a snack, or take a stroll down to the old quay, where boats can still moor (during low tide). Tenby, which is only a short drive away, is home to a number of stores, bars, and the town's own train station. Close by in the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby are fantastic beaches, watersports, and boat trips to Caldey Island, home to a small community of monks and their monastery. Kilgetty is conveniently located in the middle of all these attractions. The nearby Folly Farm, which has won numerous awards, is a wonderful place to take kids and learn about farming in action. The spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are easily accessible, and Oakwood Theme Park, home to the largest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, is also nearby.

When going to bed the 1st night we pulled Back the sheets and there was a big snob or something on top on the fitted sheet we slept on top of the sheets for the duration of the stay not knowing how clean it was , I just feel like with a good clean it would be a lovely lodge to stay in, I could see a lot of good reviews about this lodge so Mabey we where just unlucky for new year.

We think its situated on the best site on the park looking out over the Ironwork ruins. Walking distance to beach and pub and great walks for dogs, cannot fault it. Would definitely recommend it and hope to return
