Whatever the weather, Crofty Retreat is a fabulous lodge for a South Wales break.

Kilgetty is a rural settlement located 2.4 miles from Cresswell Quay, one of Pembrokeshire's most scenic villages. Cresswell Quay is best described as a charming hamlet of scattered houses on the edge of the tidal estuary. The historic quay, of course, is the focal point, where boats can still anchor for as long as the tide allows, and you might want to stop by the Cresselly Arms for some light refreshments. It's only a short drive from Tenby and has its own train station, as well as a variety of shops and pubs. Kilgetty is close to a number of attractions, including the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby, which offer fantastic beaches, watersports, and boat tours to Caldey Island, which is home to a small group of monks and their monastery.

CROFTY RETREAT ISVERY VERY DATED AND FEEL I IS OVER PRICED.Secondly there was no contact number should anything go wrong. Also the garden its self was yes very good and the hot tub was ok but the actual place arround the lodge was like being on a dump site. would i use you again NO. The sad thing in all this was i wanted it to be a little special for my mum because sadly we lost my dad about a year ago and i was hoping this would ease things a little for us.regards Kevin Whitfield

Property was easy to find with clear directions and ample private parking. The cabin was spotlessly clean and the furnishings comfy - especially the beds. The hot tub was huge, very private, and most welcome after a day exploring the beautiful area. One little gripe was some of the slatted blinds were broken which allowed the beautiful sunny weather we had to wake us early - spoke to really friendly owner who apologised stating he was awaiting parts to repair. Will most definitely be visiting this gorgeous property again. Thank you!

Hot tub was fabulous and the Cabin is remote which we enjoyed. We had gotten the impression from the photos that this may have been on a campsite and there was some sort of club house but it is more of a pit stop cafe off the road, just in case others assume the same. Hot tub was checked daily without us being disturbed at all, and the general location is an excellent base to all the local beaches. The only thing we would say it was missing was contact information for owners if anything were to go amiss, but everything else was fab
