LocationSituated on the periphery of Narberth, a delightful little town with colour wash Georgian houses, castle ruins and a great variety of shops, antiques, pottery, paintings, fabrics, glassware, clothing and woodworks are all represented. Narberth is situated just south of the Landsker borderlands, it falls into the area knows as ?Little England beyond Wales? but its roots lie deep in Welsh history. Narberth is remembered for the infamous Rebecca riots of the 19th century, this began in 1839 because the rich landowners made a decision to impose crippling road tolls on the impoverished farming community. The men set fire to the toll gates and avoided being recognised by dressing in women's clothing and blackening their faces, they called their leader Rebecca. The riots went on for a period of seven years.
There is something for everyone in this area, and is very popular amongst hikers and those who relish historical interest. It is the ideal place for families, and even for those looking for romantic getaways, with idyllic scenic walks, and breath-taking views
Around the area of Narberth there are other numerous attractions. Just less than five miles away is Oakwood theme Park, a thrilling park offering rides for all the family, including the adrenaline racing 'speed', a fast paced rollercoaster reaching speeds of 95kph! Four miles away is the Folly Farm Adventure Park voted the ?best family day out in Wales?, giving the family a chance to get close to various animals, and enjoy the beauty of the Pembrokeshire countryside.
Sycamore Ranch Western riding centre offers horse riding with a difference, and is a perfect way to explore the stunning landscape. Also in the area is the well-known beach resort Tenby, a picturesque seaside town filled with entertainment and holiday activities.
Narberth's architectural atmosphere sets the scene for the historical background to the town, and features three characteristic churches, and a 13th century Norman castle. The castle ruins are less than a mile from the centre of the town, and unveil the charisma of the town's history.
Narberth is also a favourite of local artists and hosts many art galleries for those who have an interest for Welsh art and craft.
To finish the day off, why not take a visit to The Queens Hall, located on the main high Street, a building that expresses all the excitement you need after marvelling at the shops. The Queens Hall hosts live music, comedy nights and even theatre productions, and is very popular amongst locals and tourists. With plenty of car parking the town is easily accessible to wheelchair users and families.

Carmarthen has a large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many other high street shops and a multi screen cinema. Haverfordwest -12 miles takes 24 minutes approx. Haverfordwest has a large shopping centre with most of the supermarkets and many other high street shops, cinema and Castle. Tenby - 10.3 miles takes 18 minutes approx. Tenby has a mix of shops, with a selection of high street shops. It also has a fantastic array of restaurants and pubs a bustling night life and a number of beautiful sandy beaches to choose from. Narberth - 1.2 miles takes 5 minutes approx. A busy town with galleries, craft shops and a good selection of retailers. Visitor attractions - The local leisure attractions, Bluestone, Manor House, Heatherton Country Sports Park, Folly Farm, and Oakwood are all within easy reach by car.
