Overall we had a lovely stay at the lodge. Thank you. However I do think you need to make it clear to guests BEFORE they book that a lot of the amenities arent available, then people can make an informed choice about going. We were really disappointed that the pool wasnt open and it did affect our stay with kids. Sell the really positive stuff- quiet location, close to nice places, felt really safe for the kids riding around, hot tub well maintained. We had one isue which was resolved but took most of the day and a second ask. Check in and out was easy and staff were friendly. There is no wifi- and not much data signal so that was a challenge at times- that should be on the listing. The TV worked if/ when connected to my phone data. We left some DVDs we bought from the charity shop hope someone else can enjoy.

Found out after we arrived that the busines has gone into administration, which explains the reduced costs. Nice location and the park itself was nice, but there were a few parts where the financial situation of the busines stood out. The Caravan was clean upon arrival, although there was some interior damage to some of the fixings. We were unable to turn the heating on in the caravan, and there weren't sufficient instructions to be able to figure out how to turn the radiators on. In the end we just turned the oven on for periods of time and opened the internal doors to help the heat flow throughout. The check out is 9am, but nobody was on reception at this time to receive the keys. Apparently there is a postbox, but nobody told us this during check in. Definitely worth the money though as it's a nice park, very reasonable rate for a 6 birth caravan, plus personal hot tub is a key highlight. Would definitely recommend in spite of the minor isues.
