Temple Barn is a beautifully decorated and well-equipped cottage in a stunning rural location with sea views. Guests consistently praise its cleanliness, spaciousness, and cosy atmosphere, especially the underfloor heating and powerful shower. The secure garden and fields are ideal for dogs, and the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked. While some mention low ceilings upstairs and occasional maintenance issues, these do not detract from the overall positive experience. The thoughtful touches and helpful hosts are frequently highlighted, making it a highly recommended choice for a relaxing Pembrokeshire getaway.
The majority of guests describe the property as spotlessly clean, sparkling, and well maintained. A few mention minor issues such as dirty windows or outdoor furniture, but these are exceptions rather than the norm.
The location is praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to the Pembrokeshire coast. Some guests note the remoteness and limited amenities nearby, but most appreciate the peaceful setting and easy access to local attractions.
Guests find the cottage cosy, with comfortable beds and a warm atmosphere. However, several mention the low ceilings upstairs being more suitable for children, and some find the sofas less comfortable. Overall, comfort is rated highly, especially for ground floor use.
The cottage is described as extremely well equipped, with a modern kitchen, powerful shower, and thoughtful extras like a washing machine and dog amenities. Minor issues include TV glare, a single bathroom, and occasional maintenance needs, but these are outweighed by the positives.
Many guests mention welcome packs and small gifts, as well as helpful and responsive hosts. While these thoughtful touches are frequently noted, please be aware that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

This isa nice small property in a development of similar conversions. About 10 years old it is very well done and nicely furnished. It is cosy and the upper level and 2 bedrooms are very height restricted - you need to bend right over and mind your head everywhere. It also contains the only long hanging storage, so even a couple probably need to use it. The cottage has a really nice kitchen and bathroom (bath and walk-in shower) and underfloor heating to keep the chill off.It was the hot week when we were there and the outside was used a lot. Unfortunately we didn't find the cushions until the last evening and left them where they were at the back of the broom cupboard. There is too much garden furniture for the space and the cheap rattan plastic doesn't do the rest justice. A small patio on the lawn area would be nice the existing left for dining.Temple Barn is showing its age and needs some TLC. The windows were filthy in the bright sun and there is a dirt in most nooks and crannies - even the outdoor table is mud caked and mouldy. The patio and paving need a good jet blast and the gutters and woodwork need a wash down. The conservatory window catches are fiddly and the stays do not hold the windows open. The roof lights were lined with dirt that fell off onto the beds when opened. The parking area is in need of weeding/spraying and the garden gates/posts are rotten.I noted that there seems to be a plan for another unit and the three existing would benefit from some shared updating and maintenance if standards are not to slip further.Apologies if this sounds picky but we are not really and it's just that with a little bit of investment and TLC it would be really good.I have stayed here before in one of the others and the deterioration is very obvious. BUT - I think it is a good stay and the cottages are well-equipped.

Had a great time at Temple Barn, a very well equipped and high spec property. Just a couple of niggles.... The bathroom is not en-suite as described but is for the whole cottage which sleeps up to 6. Unfortunately it is almost impossible to watch TV during daylight as the owners have not taken previous suggestions to install blinds at the windows. The light shines on the screen so you can't see anything. As the weather wasn't great while we were there, it would have been nice to watch a film or box set during the day. The TV is internet only so no freeview as described. Luckily the WiFi signal was ok most of the time although there was a bit of buffering sometimes. These are minor niggles, it is a really lovely cottage with easy access to St David's, Fishguard and the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast.

Beautiful cottage. Very modern and clean. Shower was amazing, kitchen had everything you need. Lovely box of goodies when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this cottage especially if you have dogs. Garden completely enclosed, 3 fields you can use for an off lead run about. With great views. Lots to do within 20 minutes drive away in all directions. Only thing we would change is the bed, we are used to a super king, which you never get in cottages, but a king would have made our experience 100% instead of 99%. But that's just preference. Highly recommend, our holidays are based around our doggos having fun and security and this ticked all the boxes.
