There are only a few shops in this tiny coastal community, but they include a grocery store, a post office, a place to rent water sports equipment, and a place to buy beachwear. There are also other eateries, as well as a pub, a bar, and several cafes. Little haven is a picturesque fishing community that can be reached by foot along the beach at low tide or through the coastal road, both of which lead directly to the village. You may take in the stunning scenery from the world-famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path, or you can choose from a variety of countryside walking and cycling pathways that wind their way across the area. Convenient electric car charger and pleasant outside seating areas. Only issue was recycling - instructions weren't very clear and there appeared to be only one outside overflowing bin that wasn't collected in a week. We ended up taking ours home with us.

The cottage was lovely, really comfortable, well equipped and nicely presented. We really enjoyed the location and the beaches of Little Haven and Broad Haven, and our young children loved the rock pools at Little Haven in particular. The laundry room and communal freezer were helpful bonuses too. Our main issue as discussed with the Sykes Cottages team on arrival was around the accuracy of the listing at the time of our stay, describing it as a 3 bedroom property with two twin rooms, when in reality it is a two bed property with only one twin bedroom, plus a really useful mezzanine space with a sofa bed just above the kitchens (which wasn’t included in the pictures when we stayed here). It was problematic for us as we had specifically looked for a 3 bed property with 3 distinct bedroom spaces because of the make-up of our party. However, we would happily stay here again if we only needed the two bedrooms, with the bonus of the sofa bed for an extra member of party if privacy was not required.
