Guests say

Ravens Roost is a charming and spacious barn conversion in Mathry, praised for its excellent location near beautiful walks, a friendly local pub, and easy access to Pembrokeshire’s coast. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, secure gardens for dogs, and helpful hosts. While most found the cottage clean and cosy, a few noted areas needing a deeper clean and some maintenance issues. The property is ideal for families and dog owners seeking a peaceful retreat, with thoughtful touches from the hosts, though outdoor areas and some facilities could be improved.

Most guests found the cottage clean and comfortable, but several reviews mentioned areas needing a deeper clean, such as dust, bathroom seals, and attention to detail. These comments suggest generally good standards with occasional lapses.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to scenic walks, the coast, and a welcoming local pub. Guests found it an excellent base for exploring Pembrokeshire and appreciated the peaceful village setting.

Guests frequently described the cottage as comfortable, with good heating, cosy furnishings, and spacious interiors. Some issues were noted with the mezzanine beds being suitable only for children and a few maintenance concerns, but overall comfort was rated highly.

The cottage is well equipped, with a good kitchen, secure gardens, parking, and reliable heating. Some minor issues were raised, such as broken garden furniture, tricky door locks, and a small TV, but these did not detract significantly from the overall experience.

Several guests mentioned welcome packs with items like bread, milk, butter, Welsh cakes, jam, and eggs, as well as helpful and responsive hosts. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, future guests should not expect them as standard.
