Situated in Mathry with its village green, a dog friendly pub serving food all day, tea rooms and restaurant, Little Roost is a lovely, cosy base to return to. It’s also just a short drive or walk from Pembrokeshire’s north coast and beaches. Nearby, Porthgain Harbour is an almost undiscovered jewel of the county steeped in history and still used as a small, local, fishing harbour, and also has links to the famous gallery of artist John Knapp Fisher and the Preseli Mountains with its long walks and burial chambers. The north coast of Pembrokeshire is an ideal location for the perfect getaway, an untouched and historic part of Wales - one of the great walking destinations of the UK. Super property but lacking a garden, the seating area to the rear is totally enclosed by a stone wall with no view. However the property is very well equipped with everything that you need. It is very clean and comfortable

The cottage was very comfortable and cosy.It was well placed to visit St Davids, Fishguard, Tenby and Pembroke.This was our first visit to Pembrokeshire and we really enjoyed our visit despite the weather not being too good.

Stayed here for 7 nights was met by the Owner and was shown around the cottage, very nice well equipped with everything that you would need. Location was good too, a great place for exploring the areas around. A local pub in the village with good food and drinks. Plenty of places around for walking the dog if you have one. Hosts were very helpful for local things to see and do. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to visit again.
