One kilometre of woodland pathway connects this detached, three bedroomed, cedar-wood lodge to the Blue-flag, sandy beach of Broadhaven on West Wales’ Atlantic Coast. Nestled on a south-facing slope next to the woods, within 130 acres of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Haroldston Lodge really does provide the perfect antidote to the chaos of urban life. The large picture windows which adorn its well-designed living area not only flood the space with light and invite effortless appreciation of the beauty of the natural surroundings that won this unique site, the David Bellamy Special Distinction Award. The veranda across the front of the property provides an ideal spot for bird watching and observing the activity at the nearby otter ponds, while inside is well-equipped and comfortable. The site Wi-Fi is very unreliable at the moment. Site management are trying to rectify this hopefully it will be resolved in 2025.
This superb location offers guests access to the fishing reservoir, well-stocked with large carp and other coarse fish, children’s play equipment, adequate parking for a boat and trailer and a vast, unrestricted, varied landscape perfect for walkers. A twenty minute takes you to the the large sandy beach of Broadhaven, offering bathing for families, with a dog-free section April to September. The Ocean on the seafront is an excellent venue for absorbing the view whilst enjoying a drink or a meal, they open all day. A ten-minute walk in the woods on the upper path takes you to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
There are great places to eat out in Broad Haven and Little Haven. The Pembrokeshire coastal bus service operates a hail and ride for the whole of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail, easily accessible from the road by the church.
Whilst the lodge has everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful holiday, it is best used as a base to explore beautiful Pembrokeshire.
Towels are not included.
Wi-Fi is currently very unreliable, site management are trying to rectify this but can’t see it being resolved until 2025.

Can't fault it. Owner on hand to communicate with.Lush surroundings, cool in summer, warm in autumn.(Warning, Hot taps need a lot of turns, cold tap...an 1/8th turn!!)Perfect for one, or a couple. But sleeps more. Good access for Broadhaven, access for that section of Pembrokeshire. Puffins and seals not excluded.

Absolutely loved it here. Probably the most dog friendly place I have been. The peace and tranquility were just what I was looking for. I would definitely stay here again. Bed was comfortable, kitchenette had everything I needed. Yes, the WiFi can be a bit hit and miss in the evening but not enough to be an issue for me. Loved it.

We were enchanted with this delightful lodge in a beautifully maintained natural setting close to Broadhaven. We had everything needed for a comfortable stay while we rediscovered the delights of Pembrokeshire. The lodge was incredibly quiet and peaceful and the lack of artificial light around the site ensured wonderful starlit nights. We are already planning our next visit!
