About this property

Perched in the harbour village of Solva, Pembrokeshire, is this charming ground-floor apartment, Flat 4. Enjoying a fabulous location with easy access to the local amenities and a good selection of beautiful beaches, Flat 4 is a great choice for couples or a family of four. Leave your vehicle in the off-road parking space, before entering your new home from home. Step into the living/dining room, where you can look forward to relaxing evenings with loved ones watching your favourite film on the TV, as the electric fire gently warms the space. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, which features a handy/washer dryer for keeping your holiday wardrobe fresh. Savour your meal at the dining table for four, as the wine is poured and plans for the days ahead are made. After dinner, freshen up with a hot shower in the contemporary shower room, as your towel stays toasty on the heated towel rail. When sleep calls, retire to one of two well-presented bedrooms for the evening, a double and a twin, both with plenty of storage. In the morning, rustle up the morning coffees ready to enjoy out in the shared garden as you soak up the morning rays. Explore the local village, where you can treat your loved ones to a tasty pub lunch at The Royal George or Harbour Inn, or a light bit at the Café on the Quay whilst overlooking the River Solva. The village also offers a well-stocked convenience store, a surf shop, a seafood takeaway and the idyllic sheltered harbour of the Solva Lime Kilns, where you can enjoy picturesque views as you continue hiking along the renowned Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which is right on your doorstep! Head over to St Davids, where you can visit the truly remarkable 12th-century St Davids Cathedral, dine at The Bishops or Grove Hotel, enjoy clifftop strolls along St Non’s Cliffs, where you will find the historic chapel and well, or enjoy a day of beach-side fun at Caerfai Beach. Be sure to visit Whitesands Bay, which is a popular surfing destination, which also has an on-site shop and café. Further afield, you will find Haverfordwest, home to the Haverfordwest Town Museum, The Lab, Havorfordwest Priory, the Welsh Spitfire Museum and the Priory Saltings Nature Reserve, All this and more awaits at Flat 4.

Any time of year, the beautiful coast route and tidal harbour make this a wonderful place to live and visit. Despite its modest size, this charming community has a variety of dining options, including a fish and chip restaurant, as well as gift shops and art galleries. A local woollen mill shop is a great place to pick up souvenirs to commemorate your time in Wales. It's a joy to sit on the beach and watch the tide come in and out and the boats sail in and out of the harbour. Sit by the waterwheel, visit the weaving shed, or take a break in the cafe at your local woollen mill, which is located nearby. St Davids, Britain's tiniest city, is just a short drive away from Solva, where visitors may explore the narrow streets in search of one-of-a-kind treasures, enjoy a hearty lunch or an afternoon tea, or simply relax in the serene grounds of the cathedral. Whitesands Bay's beautiful beach is perfect for lounging or perhaps surfing. Dolphins and seabirds can be spotted on boat journeys and country roads can be ridden on bicycles. A great setting in which to spend your vacation in Wales.

All the essentials were provided – except towels, but to be fair this was made very clear in the listing. We were very comfortable and would happily stay in this property again.

Extremly good condition and very well equipped. The only thing missing was a bottle opener /corkscrew but we managed!

The excellent general store almost next door was a bonus. The only criticism is that the directions to the property were totally inadequate and inaccurate. That aside I would fully recommend.
