Had a great stay between the 19/10/25 and the 24/12/25. Claire and Richard are great hosts and full of local information about where to go and where to eat if you want to. Everything you could possibly require to cater for yourself is in the cottage. Farm has plenty of fields for walking the dogs and can be let loose in the orchard. Fishing lake is great albeit only catch one was probably down to me. 😂. We be returning next year some time.

We had a lovely time at the cottage.Claire and Richard are absolutely wonderful, full of knowledge, and very attentive. The location is great, walkable to the local village, two towns just a ten minute drive, beaches a short drive, and is on a lovely quiet place. The cottage has everything that you need for self catering but some of the pots, pans and utensils did need a clean as they felt greasy. There were some cleaning issues. Behind the drawers in the bedrooms very thick in dust, as already stated cooking items had to be cleaned and felt the place just needed a more deep clean than a customary between occupations. There was also a smell of damp. Could do with a little refresh.

Another fantastic stay! Can’t fault the location or the lovely cottage :) Really enjoyed a relaxing week on this wonderful smallholding. Really recommend this property for those with nervous/reactive dogs. Garden is truly secure even for larger dogs - we could enjoy the hot tub knowing he was just enjoying a sniff around the deck and knew we didn’t have to worry. :)I’m sure we’ll be back again!
