This comfortable cottage for six, in the heart of Marloes village, is less than a mile from the stunning golden sands of Marloes beach and Musselwick sands. Marloes has a village pub, The Lobster Pot, church, post office and shop with a cafe (open all year), so most needs are catered for.

Dale is just 2 miles away and is an excellent base for sailing. Milford Haven is 9 miles and Haverfordwest is 12 miles – both towns offer a good selection of shops, supermarkets, eateries pubs and galleries.

The island of Gateholm is accessible at low tide and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily joined nearby. This stretch of coast is stunningly beautiful and unspoilt with glorious views of the bird islands of Skokholm and Skomer. In the summer, you can take a boat trip from nearby Martin's Haven to see the Puffins, Gannets and Manx Shearwaters on Skomer.

Haverfordwest (Welsh spelling: Hwlffordd) is the county town of Pembrokeshire with quaint little gift shops, pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and a vibrant night life. Haverfordwest sits at the mouth of the River Cleddau and with its castle, museum and large leisure complex it is a great day out for all the family. The whole of Pembrokeshire beckons from this perfect holiday base to explore castles, relax on beautiful sandy beaches, take walks along parts of the complete coastal footpath, and enjoy Folly Farm, the nearby trampoline park, the Dinosaur Experience and the thrills and spills of Oakwood Theme Park and Bluestone Water Park. There is so much to see and do in this wonderful part of Wales you'll want to revisit again and again.
