"Excellent place views amazing Quite and private big plus was the car was in its own drive will hope to return in the future."

"Although it is in a great location for walkers of the Coast Path and has great views, it is obvious that the items used to furnish the property (apart from the bed) are really not all that. Examples are - sofas are really uncomfortable and have lost their structure, oven only has one rack in it which not only beggars the question, where is the second rack that all ovens have but how are you supposed to cook a proper meal? The fridge has only a few of its shelves and the light flickers constantly when the door is opened. The pots were of good quality but the property could do with a selection of oven trays. There were little to no instructions on any of the equipment. The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was ok but not sure why it needed to be a wet room as everything gots wet and damp and no heating means things don’t dry out fully. There is under floor heating, not in the bedroom unfortunately, and you are at the discretion of the owners as to when it comes on and for how long. We did not enquire as to if the heating could be changed so that is probably more on us. But as I said, great views!"

"Location, location, location, breathtaking, un-interrupted sea views, toasty underfloor heating, great parking, and comfy bed what's not to love. Hope to line up another week soon."

"The cottage was really nice and a great location. Looking out to the sea every morning was amazing. Great local walks and local amenities good. The walk to the Blue Lagoon was great and St David's is only a short drive. A very pleasant stay."

"Had a great time for our short break; the weather was very windy (Storm Barra), it was December. However it was great to look out at the bay knowing you are very snug and very warm. The location is great for walking and the costal path which is right on your door step. The "Last Invasion Tapestry" at Fishguard was really fascinating."

"Great location away. The views, the peace and quiet, no passing traffic all you see is the view and occasionaly walker. The accommodation is everything you need. (Just missing the extra cushions on the bed as it's a metal frame...guessing this is reduced due to covid...) We will return if staying in the area again.."

"Great bolt hole to get away from it all, good for exploring."

"Great location on the coastal path. Well laid out, comfortable accommodation for 2 adults. Good level of equipment in kitchen. Double bed a bit on the small side."
    Michael ‐ 22 Aug 2021
"Hosts were lovely and helpful. Accommodation was adequate if a little basic. Lacking in some comforts such as cushions and kitchen equipment which may have been scaled back due to covid. Great location for stunning views and access to coastal path. Would recommend either a slightly larger bed or mattress with better support around the edge - kept feeling as is we were failing out! Information about local attractions and amenities would be welcome; i.e. maps, leaflets and menus. Overall very pleased and would come again!"

"A lovely holiday cottage. The view is amazing, couldn't stop looking at it all week. Would have liked 4 of crockery and cutlery! So many beaches to choose from, will definitely be returning."

"A superb bolt hole. Amazing view and Sarah and Rhys are excellent hosts"
    Beverley ‐ 15 Jul 2021
"In this day and age people would like a dishwasher disappointed as there was sufficient space for one."
    Jayne ‐ 12 Jul 2021
"The cottage itself is lovely, very airy and light, well equipped and clean. I brought my own towels as I read reviews that there was only one hand and bath towel each provided, which is fine. I like the fact that everything was on one level. However, there are a number of steps outside so not suitable for the less mobile. The area is very hilly, as the name The Peak suggests, so although there is a pub/restaurant in close proximity, it is a very steep climb up the hill. The view is really amazing. Great walks for the energetic, lots of ramblers and dog walkers pass by frequently, but still a peaceful location. Great place to get away for a while. The dog liked it too, especially the walks."

"The view is to die for! Superb coastal vistas from a lovely annexe which is comfortable with a great wet room/shower. Personally we'd suggest a shower curtain to keep the rest of the bathroom floor dry but the shower was hot and invigorating. Larger bath towels perhaps? Very good wifi connectionPerfect for walking the coastal path and the inland trails as well which are superbly well signposted.Good beaches within a half hour drive with Fishguard being a quiet, relaxed place. A number of takeaway restaurants at the bottom of the hill - take the car, it's steep!Great, quiet location and well recommended."

"Amazing little find the views amazing everything you could want is in the place and location as a base for west Wales amazing Think we may be back"
    Linda ‐ 21 May 2021
"Great views! Very comfortable cottage. Only small criticisms was that the freeview on the television is very limited in channels to what we get at home. But this might be normal for the area. This would not normally be a problem but had a very wet week while we were staying although we had plenty of DVDs. Would have liked a few more plates for preparing food as we ate at the cottage every day due to covid restrictions. Also most of area was very much still closed so no alternative to walking when weather was wet."
    David ‐ 25 Apr 2021
"Very good cottage, outstanding views. Coastal path passes the gate for easy access for walkers. The only drawback for us as small dog owners, was that the gate did not provide secure enclosure, would be ok with large dog."
    David ‐ 14 Apr 2021
"Very nice clean apartment, well equipped with everything you needed. Spectacular views of Goodwick harbour & peninsular from your balcony. Also, right besides the Pembroke Trust Coastal Path for great walks. Local amenities still affected by lockdown, but Highly recommended."
    Lesley ‐ 31 Mar 2021
"View at the Peak is a fabulously presented holiday let located on the coastal park with views to die for .we have visited twice over the last two years for two night breaks . Only major downside is the hard like rock mattress on the bed and we tossed and turned all night, so were shattered getting home and aching . I was hoping after previous people had mentioned it they might have taken it on board .. Also as there is underfloor heating there is nowhere to dry your wet towels after a shower . I think the addition of a heated towel rail in the shower room would be great  Oh and new towels we had the same ones two years ago and they are thin now and rough . Little differences mean a lot to paying guests .. Thankyou"

"Perfect escape from craziness of life at the moment! Amazing views and great location, immaculately clean. Bed a little firm, but not uncomfortable 珞Would love to stay again!"
"Small and very uncomfortable bed and bath towels small,[ I slept on the sofa], but a great view."
"View at the Peak was the perfect bolthole for our weekend away. Spectacular views over the harbour with lovely sunrises visible from the living area. We were looking for somewhere to stay that we could explore by foot and get to via public transport and this was perfect. The property is just up the hill (quite steep) from the train station and Fishguard town centre is about 20 minutes walk away. The place was very clean throughout and the facilities were perfectly suited to our needs - the shower was amazing! Only critique would be that the mattress was quite lumpy. Overall lovely place to get away to, would not hesitate to book again!"
