Steep steps leading up to patio with garden furniture and BBQ; lovely views of the harbour. On road parking; additional parking in Lower Town by the river.. Situated on a quiet no through road above the pretty harbour at Lower Town, this beautifully restored traditional Welsh stone cottage oozes character. The owners have retained many original features but added modern conveniences, resulting in a warm spacious charming cottage, suitable for a family holiday whatever the weather. There are two comfortable seating areas downstairs, both with slate floors, wood burning stoves and underfloor heating. Up a short, curved staircase is a light and spacious very well-equipped kitchen and dining area, again with slate floors and underfloor heating. From the dining room the back door opens out onto the secluded split-level garden overlooking the harbour, a perfect place to enjoy a barbecue on a summer’s evening. There is a separate shower room with large shower cubicle, toilet and wash basin on this level, again with underfloor heating, then up a couple of stairs to a boiler room containing washing machine and freezer with ironing board, iron and clothes horse, up another step to the bathroom with oversize bath, toilet, wash basin, marble floor and underfloor heating ensuring warm toes in the winter! Three more steps take you to the three bedrooms accessed from the corridor. Shop and restaurant ½ mile, pub 200 yards.
