Gorgeous location with beautiful views across the water which the locals make good use of, kayaking, sea cadets etc which made for a nice atmosphere for people watching from the balcony. Llanfor is very comfortable and homely with some lovely pieces of furniture, pictures and soft furnishings that has a lived in cosy feel so that we instantly felt at home. Plenty of throws and quilts for chillier nights, beds pretty comfy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could need to cook just about anything I should think, (there was even a butter dish! ) including olive oil, seasoning, tea and coffee.A small welcome pack of milk/wine and welsh cakes is a nice touch. Handy to know your netflix sign in before you go otherwise it's just freestat tv ( not a huge problem, but kids might not love it) Plenty of hot water for baths, but the shower was a little temperamental. Plenty of wonderful coves, castles and walks in the area. We caught the bus to st Davids one day which made a nice change from driving. The cathedral was breathtaking. Newport along the coast was gorgeous, lovely walks, nice eateries too. Fishguard had everything we needed, a few minutes drive, or a steep walk up the hill, Mannings being particularly nice for breakfast or coffee. The Yacht club on the quay does fab fish and also cake and coffee.

Living room a little dark. Lots of side lights. Could have done with another reading light. Plumbing a bit erratic in the bathroom. Nice middle bedroom but I am not sure whether I would be happy with the lower floor. They were dark and had a feel of an old church. Kitchen good, comfortable seating and beds.

Converted chapel with three bedrooms and bathrooms, although only one with a shower. Great location overlooking the quayside with a balcony on the first floor. Very well stocked accommodation and lovely treats left for us on our arrival. Lots of space in the property. Great stock of information, books, details etc. I have suggested a name plate at the front of the building would be useful, we drove past twice trying to find it! Parking available at the rear but not always outside the property. Great location, lots to do in south Wales, perfect beaches (when it’s a bit less windy!) and an abundance of castles, which we loved. I would recommend this property
