The garden was a bit smaller than I thought but did have access to an enclosed paddock. There is a main rail line behind the lodge however you do get use to the noise and did not spoil our enjoyment. Lovely bird song and we saw an owl and bats on our evening walk with the dog. We had a warm welcome from the owner Liz and Ralph

Spent 1week there and really enjoyed it very comfortable and peaceful. In the grounds of the owners property along with a little Shepards hut, such great spot for exploring the surrounding area. The milk, tea and coffee on arrival were very much appreciated. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
