This lovely shepherd’s hut is situated on the owners small holding with views overlooking the rolling countryside with views of the mountain.
If walking or cycling is your thing, then Mountain View is the perfect gateway to the mountains, including the nearby Skirrid, The Sugar Loaf Mountain and the Blorange. There is even a vineyard at the base offering tasting sessions. The famous ‘The Tumble’ cycle hill climb, and the hills, Ysgyryd Fach, Deri, Rholben, Ysgyryd Fawr and Mynyd Llanwenarth can also be found nearby. With easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park and Black Mountains. Abergavenny is only 4½ miles away, home of the famous Food Festival. Glamping at its best! We loved the location and the property had everything we needed! A lovely welcome pack of fresh eggs, bread and milk sorted our breakfast on Saturday 😊 We took our Spinger Spaniel and he loved exploring the garden area and was made very welcome by our lovely host. Electric heaters were very efficient and the shower room a great size. Yes…. You have to walk down to it but hey, that’s glamping!! All in all we had a wonderful relaxing stay!!Wasn’t expecting a tv but there is one there.
