Snaptrip says

The Lodge in South Wales offers a tranquil setting with stunning views, ideal for dog owners and walkers. Guests appreciate the cosy atmosphere, well-equipped kitchen, and the hot tub as a relaxing treat. While some cleanliness and maintenance issues were noted, the responsive owners and the property's potential were also highlighted.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Cleanliness received mixed feedback. While some guests found the Lodge clean, others noted issues such as a sock found in a bedroom, an unclean BBQ, and dog hair under the bedsheet. The property was generally well-received for its tidiness, but these instances suggest room for improvement.

The location is highly praised for its quietness, beautiful walks, and proximity to local attractions. The scenic views and peaceful setting contribute to a positive experience, although some guests noted the proximity to a road and adjacent properties.

Comfort is well-regarded with cosy furnishings and warm interiors. However, some guests mentioned issues with beds and pillows, and the lack of wardrobes or clothes rails in bedrooms. The presence of a hot tub added to the comfort for many.

Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and additional amenities like a hot tub. However, maintenance issues such as a broken boiler, lighting problems, and a frozen freezer were reported. The absence of a washing machine was noted by some guests.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate the owners' consideration for guests' experiences beyond the provision of standard amenities.
