About this property

Located in the Port Dinorwic Marina in Y Felinheli, Machlud Ynys is perfectly placed for enjoying both the brilliant Isle of Anglesey and the nearby Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park.

This contemporary, well-equipped holiday home offers wonderful thoughtful touches that you will look forward to returning to each day.

The open-plan sitting room, dining and kitchen area is situated on the first-floor. The seating area has a large corner sofa and armchair, Smart TV with Freeview and soundbar, DVD player, Roberts radio, USB music player, books and games.

Large French windows open to the balcony that has a patio with furniture and lovely, sunset views of Anglesey and the Menai Strait. The oval dining table seats 6.

The fully-equipped kitchen houses an electric oven, gas hob, fridge / freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, 4 slice toaster and a Tassimo coffee machine.

Two bedrooms are located on the ground-floor. The first has a king-size bed, and French windows leading to a small patio area with garden furniture, whilst the second bedroom contains a double.

The ground-floor bathroom has a bath and shower over, wash hand basin, heated towel rail, and a WC. A spiral staircase leads up from the sitting room to snug/reading area with shower room wash basin and WC.

To the rear of the house there is a small patio area, and to the front is a small balcony, which is accessed from the sitting room, with both areas offering garden furniture. There are parking spaces available close to the property.

If you fancy exploring the local area, head to the marina where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee at The Swellies, or delight in Spanish affair with some delicious tapas at the popular La Marina restaurant.

The town of Caernarfon is just a short drive away, which has an excellent selection of shops and restaurants, and not to mention its historical 13th-century castle, or for a day out hiking, the Eryri National Park is worth a tour, brimming with must-visit beauty spots.

If you'd rather spend the day relaxing at home, the balcony is a wonderful place to enjoy an evening drink whilst watching the sun set over Anglesey.

Y Felinheli, formerly know as Port Dinorwic, is situated on the beautiful Menai Strait between the historic town of Caernarfon and the cathedral city of Bangor. Home to a small, established yachting marina with an interesting lock (allowing boats to enter or leave before cruising down the Straits to the open sea), this small village also has a couple of pubs, a restaurant and cafe in the dock area, a shop and Post Office, a beautician, a hairdresser and several great restaurants on the nearby Island of Anglesey. Visitors to this lovely region are spoilt for choice, with stunning Snowdonia, the beautiful Llyn Peninsula, or the sandy beaches of the Isle of Anglesey all within easy reach.
