Would like to return often during holidays. Sea, sand, sun, peace, comfort and support from Su and her husband. Thank you so much. See you soon.

We had read reviews about cleanliness and wondered what we would find. So firstly what a fantastic location. You can access the promenade from the garden although there is a drop to jump down, so we accessed it via the road instead. The house was clean as such apart from the fan above the shower which we noticed the day before we left was caked in dust. I think where people have previously complained it was dirty I would say its in desperate need of maintenance. We didn't for example use the bread bin, it was clean but the base was peeling so it looked dirty. All the top of the microwave looked as though the plastic was peeling. In the lounge they've obviously had some leaks, the ceiling has different paint colours on, the wall nearest the TV has plaster pulling away from the wall and it's completely off near the ground, paintwork around light switches needs re doing. In the bathroom there is black mold starting above the shower and mold around the taps and the sealant is black in areas. Tge bin is rusting, such a simple thing to rectify. We thought about contacting the housekeepers but these are things that can't be sorted on one visit and hopefully they know about them and have informed the owners. We can say that we had the best nights sleep whilst there, the bed was very comfy. We would love to return to the property but not in its current state, but if its sorted we would not hesitate to return. We've got photos of the issuesif they would help. I'm sure that the issues will be sorted.

Water visible and running down on inside interior wall next to TV and side of pictures. Looks like it's where the balcony is above. That wall remained damp throughout week. Plaster and paint is being pushed out in bubbles due to water behind it. Front bedroom, street side, window handle is very stiff to open and close and frame is rusting away inside due to salty / sea air. Front door lock mechanism was very loose and key kept sticking when turned to lock so great difficulty trying to pull the key out. However caretaker sprayed WD40 into lock when changed light bulb on landing upstairs on Weds 11th and much easier to turn key to lock and open. When stiff, the mechanism comes out slightly so this will be an issue when stiffens up again. Also lightbulb that was changed on Weds 11th was flickering from Thurs 12th onwards so looks like there's a connection issue. Left these comments in the housekeeping book also.
