The name, which translates to "The Old Bakery" in Welsh, perfectly captures the character and warmth of this wonderful place. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the beauty of the place. The original wood floors added a touch of elegance, and the entire space was impeccably clean, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The airy and spacious layout provided a sense of openness, allowed relaxation. Every room was thoughtfully furnished from the cozy bedrooms to the living area, we felt at home throughout our stay. The amenities close by to the house, nearby shops, pubs, and restaurants, beaches and swimming, ensured that we had everything we needed, making the time there truly convenient and enjoyable. Not to mention the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and experience the warm hospitality of the community. Overall, Yr Hen Fecws was fantastic. The beautiful surroundings, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location all contributed to a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this lovely accommodation to anyone visiting Pwllheli, as it offers a truly delightful and unforgettable experience. Thank you to the hosts of Yr Hen Fecws. We look forward to returning in the future.

The house was so clean and new and spotless. The kitchen was so well stocked with all the utensils and crockery/cutlery and cooking items we could need that we didn't need to bring anything with us and it very much felt our 'home from home'. The house is so conveniently located in the center and we also found some free parking close by! it was also a great place to stay given the links to so many other areas/beaches close by. Your home and the comfort you provided us for our break was very much appreciated and your house is a credit to you.# We would certainly consider staying again. Thank you Wendy & Colin
