Courtyard (shared with another property). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Ty Canol is tucked away down a pretty lane in the beautiful countryside of the Lleyn Peninsular. Attached to her sister cottage which shares the same name, this lovely holiday cottage benefits from a private garden area which enjoys superb views across the fields. Low ceilings are part of the charm of the cottage, which is comfortably furnished and is in a fabulous position for exploring this spectacular part of North Wales. A ten minute or so drive will take you to the pretty seaside village of Aberdaron, which boasts a superb beach and amazing views of the coastline towards Cardigan Bay as well as ice cream shops, tea rooms and walks to explore the popular seaside resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch are between twelve and fifteen miles from Rhiw, where you can indulge in all kinds of watersports, swimming, relaxing, eating and shopping.

Lovely peaceful cottage, comfortable and well-equipped. Two double bedrooms, comfy beds and a warm duvet each. Weather had just started getting cold at night so a wood fire would have been nice. A few things for future guests. You do have to get used to narrowness of surrounding lanes but you do learn to relax! The area is very high in NT car parks which is useful for members. Whistling sands is lovely (but quite steep to walk up to car park, you can drop off but if 3 cars are down there at the cafe there is no turning place). In the cottage there are dishwasher tablets and indeed everything for washing up - but no toiletries in bathroom inc soap. Only toilet is upstairs. Towel rail is on central heating system. Anyway we loved it there and strongly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Ty Canol, it is a lovely, comfortable cottage situated in a beautiful area which hasn’t changed over the years.It is also clean and well equipped but it is advisable to have done ‘a big shop’ before arriving as the nearest Spar is two and half miles away. ps. though, don’t forget to take a hairdryer, kitchen/bathroom spray and a salt and pepper cruet set (plus contents of course)

Ty Canol is a lovely cosy cottage with very comfortable beds, very clean throughout, which is pet free, very quiet location but within driving distance of local shops and beautiful beaches. I would definitely recommend a stay at Ty Canol.
