Trefaes Newydd is a cosy and comfortable cottage in North Wales, praised for its fabulous views and peaceful, remote location. Guests appreciate the warm welcome from the owners and the well-equipped, clean interiors. While some guests encountered issues with dogs and maintenance, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The majority of guests found the cottage to be well maintained and clean, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few mentioned a smell reminiscent of wet dogs and dust under beds, slightly affecting the overall impression.
The cottage's location is frequently highlighted as spectacular, offering quiet retreats with easy access to local attractions. Its central position on the Llyn Peninsula is ideal for exploring the area, though the rural setting may not suit everyone.
Guests describe the cottage as cosy, warm, and comfortable, especially during the winter. Some concerns were raised about the lack of a washing machine and issues with electricity tripping, which impacted the comfort level for those guests.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being superbly appointed. However, there are several mentions of electrical issues, poor internet and TV reception, and a need for dog-proof fencing, which suggests room for improvement in this area.
While guests have expressed gratitude for the hospitality and some Christmas touches, there is insufficient information about consistent thoughtful gestures such as gifts to accurately assess this category.
